Seamless is designed to make peoples lives easier, including our own, we’re a start up tech company currently based in the NDRC in Dublin and we love visitors! Although our product is new to the industry we are not. Our founder Tara van Zyl has been working internationally as a Costume Designer in the Film and Television Industry for the past 20 years.
Tara’s introduction to the digital world began in 2013 with iCostume; an app that digitised the time consuming task of tracking costume continuity on film. Traditionally done manually using pen, paper and a digital camera, Tara felt there was an easier way for the department to keep track of the smaller details.
Since then Tara has wanted to equip all departments with a tool they could use on a daily basis to save time and energy. Introducing Seamless; we believe that you should have more time for life, the concept has won many awards which has helped us get set up. Seamless is a private and secure place for all crew to make sharing and discussing their ideas and inspiration as simple as listening, taking part and sharing in a conversation in person.

They champion the female digital entrepreneur, and their monthly networking breakfasts remain the stuff of legend. This month, they profile a quartet of emerging Dublin tech startup founders: Andreea Wade of Opening.io, Aine Behan of Cortechs, Rhona Togher of Restored Hearing and Tara van Zyl of Seamless.
"Seamless is a real-time messaging and approvals system for use in the film and television industry. We're making it much easier for production crews to communicate with each other, get decisions quickly, and to share confidential production information securely."
NDRC worked with 10 tech startups with female founders this summer, as part of an initiative to shine a light on the opportunities for women in the tech startup arena. Run in partnership with AIB and Enterprise Ireland, the ‘Female Founders’ initiative brought female founders together with highly qualified team members, mentors and advisors to validate their ideas and get things moving towards a full business rollout.
Here at #DigiWomen we are always excited to hear about women making waves in technology. #SheDIDIt is a collection of these stories which we hope will inspire other women to step forward and take pride in their contributions.
